Kingaroy Regional Art Gallery is exploring the magical world of print-making in August, with a range of South Burnett artists displaying their talents with woodcuts, linocuts and etchings.<\/p>\n

Some of the many mini-prints in the main gallery are stark black and white cutouts, while others are brightly coloured, intricate artworks.<\/p>\n

Many were created during a workshop at the gallery, facilitated by Central Queensland artist Peta Lloyd.<\/p>\n

Cr Danita Potter, who officially opened the exhibition, said the prints were absolutely amazing.<\/p>\n

In the front gallery, well-known local artist Tania Corbet has taken over the walls with a series of small studies in mixed media.<\/p>\n

These were a big hit with the opening night crowd, with many bearing “sold” red dots by the end of the evening!<\/p>\n

In the rear gallery, Kingaroy artist Cara Renee Binding has her first exhibition at the Kingaroy gallery, with a display of colourful nature-inspired works imbued with a touch of fantasy.<\/p>\n
