Two road projects in the South Burnett area will be funded under the State Government\u2019s new Country Roads Connect Program.<\/p>\n

The successful local projects are Memerambi-Barkers Creek Road (South Burnett Regional Council) and Murray Road (Cherbourg Aboriginal Shire Council).<\/strong><\/p>\n

They are among 22 projects across Queensland announced by the State Government on Monday.<\/p>\n

The program will be administered by the Department of Transport and Main Roads in collaboration with the Department of Natural Resources and Mines, Manufacturing, and Regional and Rural Development.<\/p>\n

These works are in addition to projects listed in the Queensland Transport and Roads Investment Program<\/a><\/strong> for 2025-26 to 2028-29.<\/p>\n

These include the $11.5 million upgrades under way on the D’Aguilar Highway, west of Nanango.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
