August 15, 2025<\/strong><\/p>\n

We’re now at the business end of the 2025 South Burnett Rugby League competition, with the semi-finals of both the A Grade and Under 14s to be played this Saturday.<\/p>\n

The Blackbutt-Yarraman Timbertowners will be hosting the games at Ian \u201cBunny\u201d Pearce Oval in Railway Street, Blackbutt.<\/p>\n

In A Grade, Minor Premiers Cherbourg will be taking on second-placed Kingaroy in the Major Semi-Final at 2:15pm.\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n

In the sudden-death Minor Semi-Final, Wondai will face Murgon at 12:20pm.<\/p>\n

In Under 14s,\u00a0 Minor Premiers Nanango will face second-placed Chinchilla at 10:55am in the Major Semi-Final; while Murgon will play Kingaroy in the Minor Semi-Final at 9:30am.<\/strong><\/p>\n

(The winners of the two Major Semi-Finals will go straight through to Grand Finals on August 30, while the losers will play the winners of the Minor Semi-Finals in Preliminary Finals on August 23.)<\/p>\n

In the Toowoomba junior rugby league competition, there are still two rounds to go in the regular season.<\/strong><\/p>\n

South Burnett Eagles sides will be in action in Gatton and Dalby, while the Under 19s will be playing at Blackbutt on Sunday at 2:15pm.<\/p>\n

In the Bundaberg senior women’s competition, Cherbourg will be playing Across The Waves on Saturday in a semi-final at Bundaberg.<\/p>\n
