Transport and Main Roads Minister Brent Mickelberg visited the South Burnett last week to check on the progress of the $11.5 million upgrades to the D’Aguilar Highway west of Nanango.<\/p>\n

Minister Mickelberg inspected the construction site alongside Member for Nanango Deb Frecklington.<\/p>\n

The project is straightening out a section of the highway and improving a creek crossing known to flood.<\/p>\n

The roadworks, which stretch up to Parsons Road, will be continuing until mid-2026.<\/p>\n

Mrs Frecklington thanked drivers for their patience.<\/p>\n
