The Yidding Art Studio at Cherbourg will receive a $25,000 boost thanks to the State Government’s “Backing Indigenous Arts” program.<\/p>\n

The Cherbourg studio, part of The Ration Shed complex, is one of nine art centres across Queensland to receive assistance from the program.<\/p>\n

The funding will support small-scale infrastructure and equipment upgrades at the nine studios, including building repairs, new lighting and the purchase of pottery kilns to improve workspaces for artists and arts workers.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
