Kingaroy solicitor Paul Laurentiussen had a dream come true recently when he flew solo in a glider at the Kingaroy Soaring Club.<\/p>\n

Paul has been a member of the club for less than a year.<\/p>\n

He was sent solo by volunteer instructor Greg Schmidt, who has more than 20,000 flying hours experience and volunteers his time as a club instructor.<\/p>\n

“Paul will now progress to learning the principles of cross-country soaring so he can enjoy the great soaring conditions in the Kingaroy area,” Greg said.<\/p>\n

“He joins a large number of locals who use the great facilities at the Kingaroy Soaring Club.”<\/p>\n
