The South Burnett has been spoiled for choice with show’n’shines recently, but the recent Motors ‘N’ Mochas free event in Kingaroy probably topped the lot.<\/p>\n

There were more than 350 vehicles at the Kingaroy Vintage Machinery Club’s grounds in Geoff Raph Drive on July 20, including more than 70 motorbikes.<\/p>\n

There was everything from the Monkeemobile to a mini-Jeep, including classic Falcons and Holdens, hot rods and US muscle cars.<\/p>\n

Even Santa turned up in his sleigh for a Christmas In July visit!<\/p>\n

Senior Constable Jade Miller, from the Dalby Road Policing Unit (Kingaroy), was on hand with his speed gun, checking out how fast some of the children could run.<\/strong><\/p>\n

Motor ‘N’ Mochas is run by a small volunteer group eager to provide a regular opportunity for people to show off their vehicles and enjoy a hot coffee!<\/p>\n

The Vintage Machinery Club also had their shed open for people to buy breakfast or a cold drink.<\/p>\n

Entry for both visitors and vehicles to Motors ‘N’ Mochas events is free.<\/p>\n

The first event was held in July 2022, and since then the shows have been held two or three times a year.<\/p>\n
