What could be better for a chilly winter night than a warm and colourful quilt?\u00a0This is probably why the annual Quilt Trail around various South Burnett locations is always one of the popular parts of the Kingaroy Regional Art Gallery’s Winter Craft Festival.<\/p>\n

Private studios and other sites were open to public last Saturday and Sunday, from Kingaroy to Gordonbrook.<\/p>\n

In Kingaroy, the Maidenwell Quilters joined with the Kingaroy QCWA to host an exhibition at the QCWA’s clubrooms in Kingaroy Street.<\/strong><\/p>\n

Other locations on the two-day trail were\u00a0Alisellou Designs in\u00a0 Wooroolin, Kingaroy Town Hall Supper Room (where the Cooinda Craft Group meets),\u00a0 Quilters Rest at Gordonbrook and Somethings Country in Kingaroy.<\/p>\n

The Kingaroy Art Gallery’s July exhibition also featured a big range of quilts.<\/p>\n

Crafty types were also lured to the annual “Wooroolin De Stash” event on Saturday to pick up bargains at Wooroolin Memorial Hall.<\/p>\n
