Division 6 councillor Cr Ros Heit will take over the Deputy Mayor’s role on August 3<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n

Division 6 councillor Ros Heit will take over the role as Deputy Mayor of the South Burnett Regional Council on August 3.<\/p>\n

The appointment was confirmed at Wednesday’s general meeting of council which followed the Budget meeting.<\/p>\n

Cr Heit will replace Division 1 councillor Jane Erkens who served in the role from December 4 after taking over from Division 3 councillor Danita Potter.<\/p>\n

The changes are in line with the eight-month rotational model decided at the start of the current Council term.<\/strong><\/p>\n

At the time, Mayor Duff said the rotation program was part of building a team which supported each other and worked together, avoiding problems which had developed in previous Councils.<\/p>\n

The rotational order discussed at the start of the term was: Cr Danita Potter, Cr Jane Erkens, Cr Ros Heit, Cr Deb Dennien, Cr Linda Little and Cr Heath Sander.<\/p>\n
