July 10, 2025<\/strong><\/p>\n

The second phase of Kingaroy Regional Art Gallery’s two-month Queensland Winter Craft Festival is under way.<\/p>\n

The July exhibitions have filled the main galleries with “winter warmers”, including colourful quilts, felted scarves and luxury alpaca woolies.<\/p>\n

The Birds Of A Feather group has taken over Gallery 1 with “Silver Creations” which features patchwork, sashiko stitching and machine embroidery as well as jewellery and visual art.<\/p>\n

In Gallery 2, Collective Creations has “Sojourn”, a collection of textile artworks created by local artists in mixed media.<\/p>\n

Shady Pines Alpacas have filled Gallery 3 with “Pacadorable”, winter accessories and small artworks crafted from alpaca wool by Julia and Kirsten Jeffery.<\/p>\n

The July exhibitions were officially opened by Cr Danita Potter last Friday.<\/p>\n

The annual Quilt Trail “craft crawl” is on again this month as part of the second half of the festival. On July 19 (9:00am-4:00pm) and July 20 (9:00am-3:00pm), visitors have been invited to drop in to:<\/strong><\/p>\n
