The South Burnett Eagles have flown the coop, heading off to Salter Oval Bundaberg for this weekend’s big 47th Battalion rugby league carnival.<\/p>\n

Players were presented with their Eagles’ jerseys at a ceremony on Thursday night at Kingaroy’s Commercial Hotel.<\/p>\n

They’ll be hoping to do one better than 2023 and 2024 when they brought home the Plate trophy.<\/p>\n

Picked in the squad are: Steven Walsh, Jonathan Walsh, Josiah Alberts, Dom Sandow, Killian Klease, George Fisher Jnr, Lachlan Price, Barry Tapau-Fewquandie, Fletch Prendergast, Adam Nightingale, Elwyn Fewquandie, Anthony Gray, Connor Sullivan, Harry Perrett, Josh Peterson, Asofono Lemalu, Mitch Bailey, Joel Fewquandie and Tiai Tuiloma.<\/p>\n

The men will take on Gladstone at 9:00am on Saturday; followed by the Central Burnett at 3:40pm.<\/p>\n

The Final and Plate Final will be played on Sunday.<\/p>\n

The games will also be broadcast live and on demand (via subscription) on Qplus.TV<\/a><\/strong><\/p>\n
