{"id":360530,"date":"2025-05-09T13:05:06","date_gmt":"2025-05-09T03:05:06","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/southburnett.com.au\/news2\/?p=360530"},"modified":"2025-05-09T13:09:10","modified_gmt":"2025-05-09T03:09:10","slug":"mla-seeks-three-directors","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/southburnett.com.au\/news2\/2025\/05\/09\/mla-seeks-three-directors\/","title":{"rendered":"MLA Seeks Three Directors"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><strong>May 9, 2025<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Meat &amp; Livestock Australia (MLA) is inviting applications to fill three non-executive Director positions on its Board.<\/p>\n<p>Applications close on June 8.<\/p>\n<p>MLA\u2019s Board is skills-based and currently consists of of nine directors, including eight non-executive directors and the Managing Director.<\/p>\n<p>Directors are nominated through a Selection Committee and appointed by members at AGMs for a three-year term.<\/p>\n<p>Retiring Directors are able to nominate for re-election.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Candidates with skills and experience in any of the following areas have been encouraged to apply:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Extensive knowledge of modern livestock supply chain systems, product integrity and value adding,<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<ul>\n<li>Knowledge and connection across the agri-food industry including knowledge of Research &amp; Development Corporation (RDC) obligations and functions,<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<ul>\n<li>Practical experience and understanding of sustainability frameworks and improvement opportunities.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>More information is available <a href=\"http:\/\/www.mla.com.au\/directorguidelines\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">online<\/a><\/strong><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Meat &#038; Livestock Australia is inviting applications to fill three non-executive Director positions on its Board.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"author":20,"featured_media":4888,"comment_status":"open","ping_status":"open","sticky":false,"template":"","format":"standard","meta":[],"categories":[3,36],"tags":[1134],"yoast_head":"<!-- This site is optimized with the Yoast SEO plugin v19.11 -
