The Murgon and District Bantam Club held its 6th Bantam Show in the Poultry Pavilion at the Murgon Showgrounds on Sunday.<\/p>\n

There were a record 360 entries, both soft feather and hard feather varieties.<\/p>\n

The 30 competitors travelled from as far away as Mt Larcom and Lismore to show their prized birds.<\/p>\n

Gabrielle English and her son Michael, from Nanango, took out the major prizes: Grand Champion (White Leghorn Pullet) and Reserve Champion (Ginger Pile Cockerel).<\/p>\n

Murgon Show Society president Josh Steinhardt, South Burnett Mayor Kathy Duff and Cr Heath Sander presented the trophies.<\/p>\n
