facilities<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<p><strong>May 7, 2025<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Twenty local groups have shared almost $558,000 in the latest round of Gambling Community Benefit Fund grants.<\/p>\n<p>More than $16 million was distributed to almost 630 community groups across Queensland in Round 122.<\/p>\n<p>A State Government spokesperson said more than 2000 applications were received across the State, the largest number in the program\u2019s 31-year history.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Local recipients included:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Bell &amp; District Golf Club &#8211; buy a mower &#8211; $34,990<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<ul>\n<li>Bell RSL Sub-Branch &#8211; install solar and air-conditioning &#8211; $24,245.45<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<ul>\n<li>Kilkivan Bowls Club &#8211; buy table and chairs &#8211; $19,360<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<ul>\n<li>Kilkivan District Amateur Swimming Club &#8211; buy starting blocks and lane ropes &#8211; $30,852.20<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<ul>\n<li>Kilkivan Great Horse Ride Association &#8211; buy a trailer &#8211; $18,184<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<ul>\n<li>Kilkivan Veterans&#8217; and Community Men&#8217;s Shed Association &#8211; buy a sawmill &#8211; $5621<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<ul>\n<li>Kumbia Hack &amp; Pony Club &#8211; buy mowers, sprayer and brush cutter &#8211; $14,738<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<ul>\n<li>Linville Progress Association &#8211; install air-conditioning and back-up power supply &#8211; $34,750<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<ul>\n<li>Murgon Golf Club &#8211; upgrade irrigation system &#8211; $24,504<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<ul>\n<li>Murgon Independent Lifestyle Project &#8211; buy mower &#8211; $30,449<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<ul>\n<li>Nanango Agricultural, Pastoral &amp; Mining Society (Nanango Show Society) &#8211; buy tractor &#8211; $30,000<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<ul>\n<li>Proston State School P&amp;C &#8211; purchase IT equipment &#8211; $35,000<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<ul>\n<li>South Burnett First Aid Volunteers &#8211; buy rescue device and training manikin &#8211; $35,000<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<ul>\n<li>Tableland Public Hall Association &#8211; construct accessible amenities block and paint building &#8211; $35,000<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<ul>\n<li>Timbertowns Woodworking Group &#8211; install solar system &#8211; $24,900<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<ul>\n<li>Widgee District Hall &amp; Recreation Association &#8211; upgrade facility &#8211; $34,264<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<ul>\n<li>Widgee Endurance &amp; Trail Riding Club &#8211; buy lighting tower and shipping container &#8211; $35,000<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<ul>\n<li>Wondai RSL Sub-Branch &#8211; install solar system &#8211; $34,289.87<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<ul>\n<li>Yarraman &amp; District Historical Society &#8211; buy shipping container and upgrade facility &#8211; $25,359.34<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<ul>\n<li>Yarraman &amp; District Progress Association &#8211; hire equipment for event &#8211; $31,179<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Round 124, which will offer grants of up to
