School is deadly cool: The Saltner boys relax after a day at school with their parents Alicia and Des<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n

The five Saltner boys never stop to think about whether they\u2019ll go to school.<\/p>\n

They get up at 6:00am and the older boys Harold, 12, and William, 10, prepare breakfast for the younger trio.<\/p>\n

They\u2019ll make toast and cereal for Colin, 9, Des, 6, and Percy, 4.<\/p>\n

Mum Alicia and dad Des will then make their lunches while their children dress in the Cherbourg State School uniforms they have washed and ironed for them.<\/p>\n

The boys are then out the door heading for school at 8:00am.<\/p>\n

\u201cThey love it,\u201d Mr Saltner said. \u201cThey\u2019re with their friends.\u201d<\/p>\n

Mr and Mrs Saltner believe school will set their children up for a happier life.<\/p>\n

\u201cThey\u2019ll have the education to do what they want in the workforce,\u201d Mr Saltner said.<\/p>\n

\u201cThey love their football but it\u2019s always good to have a back-up plan. When they get a bit older they\u2019ll probably start talking about what they want to do. And we\u2019ll encourage them.\u201d<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
