April 21, 2025<\/strong><\/p>\n

The 2025 Darling Downs AFL competition will get under way in Toowoomba this Saturday (April 26).<\/p>\n

The South Burnett Saints will have both senior men, senior women and junior teams competing in competitions this year.<\/p>\n

The men, women and Under 13s will be in action this weekend against University Cougars in Toowoomba.<\/p>\n

The first home game at Lyle Vidler Oval in Kingaroy for the senior men will be held on May 10 against the Warwick Redbacks.<\/strong><\/p>\n

The first women’s home game will be against the Goondiwindi Hawks on May 24.<\/p>\n

The senior teams will be playing a 17-round competition followed by the finals series.<\/p>\n

UPDATE: Jerseys will be presented to the U13.5 Saints players on Thursday (April 24) at Lyle Vidler Oval after training at 4:30pm. There’ll be a free sausage sizzle for players and their families.<\/p>\n
