The first of the South Burnett Regional Council’s planned “community catch-ups” to discuss its new draft Corporate and Community plans will go ahead this week.<\/p>\n

Local councils are required by law to produce a new Corporate Plan every five years to guide decision-making and the allocation of resources.<\/p>\n

Residents have been invited to catch up with Mayor Kathy Duff and her fellow Councillors at Wondai Memorial Hall on Tuesday (April 15)<\/strong> from 5:30pm to 7:30pm.<\/p>\n

Light refreshments will be served afterwards.<\/p>\n

The Wondai event will be followed by catch-ups at other towns around the region during the next few weeks:<\/p>\n

\u2022 Maidenwell Town Hall<\/b>\u00a0\u2013 Wednesday, April 23 (1:00pm to 3:00pm)<\/p>\n

\u2022 Blackbutt Town Hall<\/b>\u00a0\u2013 Wednesday, April 23 (5:30pm to 7:30pm)<\/p>\n

\u2022 Proston Hall<\/b>\u00a0\u2013 Wednesday, April 30 (1:00pm to 3:00pm)<\/p>\n

\u2022 Murgon Town Hall<\/b>\u00a0\u2013 Wednesday, April 30 (5:30pm to 7:30pm)<\/p>\n

\u2022 Durong Hall<\/b>\u00a0\u2013 Monday, May 12 (1:00pm to 3:00pm)<\/p>\n

\u2022 Kumbia Hall<\/b>\u00a0\u2013 Monday, May 12 (5:30pm to 7:30pm)<\/p>\n

\u2022 Nanango RSL Tara\u2019s Hall<\/b>\u00a0\u2013 Wednesday, May 14 (5:30pm to 7:30pm)<\/p>\n

\u2022 Kingaroy Town Hall<\/b>\u00a0\u2013 Thursday, May 15 (5:30pm to 7:30pm)<\/p>\n

Residents who cannot make it to one of these daytime or evening events, can also share their feedback online.<\/p>\n

The draft Corporate Plan and Community Plans are available on Council’s website<\/b><\/a>\u00a0where residents can also have their say.<\/p>\n
