Kingaroy Art Gallery’s April exhibition is exploring nature, with the help of three very talented artists from Bundaberg.<\/p>\n

Carmel Birchley, Maggie Spenceley and Colleen Helmore are urging visitors to become aware of the beauty that surrounds us in the natural environment, to slow down and savour the sensations.<\/p>\n

Their “Nature’s Therapy” exhibitions include watercolours, acrylics, oils and pastels as well as pencil sketches and scraperboard engravings.<\/p>\n

The official opening was held on Saturday evening and was followed on Sunday by a drawing workshop and demonstrations by the three artists.<\/strong><\/p>\n

The exhibition will remain on display until April 26.<\/p>\n

Kingaroy Regional Art Gallery, opposite the peanut silos in Haly Street, is open from 10:00am to 4:00pm, Monday to Thursday; and 9:00am to 1:00pm on Fridays, Saturdays and public holidays.<\/p>\n

Entry to the gallery is free.<\/p>\n
