Australian Olympian and Commonwealth Games gold medallist Taylor McKeown will be the guest speaker at this year’s South Burnett Relay For Life campaign launch breakfast.<\/p>\n

The Mayor’s Breakfast will officially start the 2025 fundraising campaign in the South Burnett for Cancer Council Queensland.<\/p>\n

It will be held at Nanango RSL Club from 6:00am on May 14.<\/strong><\/p>\n

McKeown won gold in the 200 metre breaststroke at the 2014 Commonwealth Games in Glasgow.<\/p>\n

At the 2016 Olympics in Rio de Janeiro,\u00a0 the Queensland swimmer was part of the team – alongside Emily Seebohm, Emma McKeon and Cate Campbell – which won a silver medal in the 4\u00d7100m medley relay.<\/p>\n

Tickets for the breakfast are $35 with all funds going to Relay For Life.<\/strong><\/p>\n

They can be bought online<\/a> <\/strong>or from any of the South Burnett Regional Council’s service centres.<\/p>\n
