What could be better than having your choice of thousands of quality books to buy at bargain basement prices?<\/p>\n

Perhaps, having the opportunity to enjoy a drink and a few nibbles, too, before you start browsing …<\/p>\n

That’s what the VIPs enjoyed on Friday night at the launch of the 2025 Bookarama in Kingaroy Town Hall.<\/p>\n

For just $10 a head – with numbers strictly limited – guests enjoyed first pick at the thousands of books available to buy, as well as music, DVDs, puzzles and games.<\/p>\n

Bookarama is a fundraiser for the St John’s School P&F, which took over running the popular annual event in 2020.<\/strong><\/p>\n

Volunteers and school students worked hard in the lead-up to the weekend to sort out the books and place them neatly on the tables.<\/p>\n

And as items were sold, the tables were quickly restacked from the many boxes still available.<\/p>\n

The main days of Bookarama were Saturday and Sunday when admission was free … and there were still thousands of items available to buy!<\/p>\n
