A 41-year-old man was allegedly threatened and ordered to hand over his car keys in a carjacking by teenagers in Murgon on Wednesday night.<\/p>\n

A police spokesperson said the man was sitting in his vehicle in Lamb Street about 7:00pm when he was approached by a male teenager who demanded his car keys.<\/p>\n

The teenager then allegedly threatened the man before taking his keys and driving off, accompanied by a second male teenager.<\/p>\n

The man was not physically injured in the incident.<\/p>\n

Police located the stolen vehicle, a white Kia station wagon, a short time later in Cherbourg after it had been extensively damaged by fire.<\/strong><\/p>\n

Fire crews were called to the burning vehicle, in Broadway Street, just before 8:30pm.<\/p>\n

Investigations into the incident are ongoing.<\/p>\n
