Nanango Scorpions, sitting in second spot on the South Burnett senior cricket ladder, proved too strong for Tingoora Huntsman last Saturday.<\/p>\n

As it was the final round of the regular season, it was also Huntsmen’s final game of the season.<\/p>\n

Tingoora won the toss and elected to bat, finishing 8\/125.<\/p>\n

Nicholas Johannessen was the top scorer with 22 runs.<\/p>\n

Josephine Black took 4\/43 runs off 7.1 overs for Nanango.<\/strong><\/p>\n

In reply, Scorpions overtook the target in 22.1 overs for the loss of two wickers.<\/p>\n

Top scorer was Jayden Prendergast who retired at 50 not out after reaching his half-century.<\/p>\n

Joshua Miller was the best of the Huntsmen bowlers, taking 2\/26 off eight overs.<\/p>\n

Nanango downed Huntsmen by eight wickets.<\/p>\n

Scorpions have earned a spot in next Saturday’s first round of finals games.<\/p>\n

Ben Greenslade, who finished not out 24 for Nanango, hit two sixes and two fours in his short time at the crease<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n

              Gympie A Grade Grand Final<\/strong><\/span><\/h3>\n

              The Gympie A Grade Two-Day competition Grand Final featured two South Burnett teams but was played in Gympie last Saturday and Sunday.<\/strong><\/p>\n

              And despite the name, the Grand Final is scheduled to continue into Day 3 next Saturday (March 8).<\/p>\n

              Warriors won the toss and elected to bat.<\/p>\n

              At the end of their first innings,\u00a0 Warriors were all out for 250 runs in 82.1 overs.<\/p>\n

              Matthew Dugdell was top scorer with 72 runs, while Tom Carney took 3\/31 off 21 overs.<\/p>\n

              Murgon Crusaders were all out for 123 at the end of their first innings in 53.3 overs.<\/p>\n

              Brenton Polzin was top-scorer with 57 runs, while Matthew Dugdell took 4\/6 off seven overs.<\/p>\n

              Warriors won first innings points.<\/p>\n

              Warriors were all out for 153 in their second innings (49.1 overs).<\/p>\n

              Clinton Zemek (45) was the top scorer, while Lehman Brunjes took 4\/32 off 9.1 overs.<\/p>\n

              At stumps on Day 2, Murgon Crusaders were 2\/16 and trailing by 264 runs.<\/p>\n
