{"id":357872,"date":"2025-02-27T16:31:37","date_gmt":"2025-02-27T06:31:37","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/southburnett.com.au\/news2\/?p=357872"},"modified":"2025-02-27T16:31:37","modified_gmt":"2025-02-27T06:31:37","slug":"reseal-for-mountain-road","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/southburnett.com.au\/news2\/2025\/02\/27\/reseal-for-mountain-road\/","title":{"rendered":"Reseal For Mountain Road"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><strong>February 27, 2025<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Work to repair a stretch of Bunya Mountains Road is due to begin on Monday, March 10.<\/p>\n<p>The Department of Transport and Main Roads works will reseal six kilometres of road on the southern side of the mountain, ie. a section leading up to the Bunya Mountains-Maidenwell Road intersection.<\/p>\n<p>The work is due to be completed by March 12, weather permitting.<\/p>\n<p><strong>The road will be closed while the work is being undertaken.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>This means travellers heading from the southern side of the mountains will have to take a long detour via Bunya Mountains-Maclagan Road, Dalby-Cooyar Road, New England Highway, Kingaroy-Cooyar Road and Maidenwell-Bunya Mountains Road.<\/p>\n<p>However, local traffic and emergency services will be escorted through the construction area.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Work to repair a stretch of Bunya Mountains Road is due to begin on Monday, March 10.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"author":20,"featured_media":341816,"comment_status":"open","ping_status":"open","sticky":false,"template":"","format":"standard","meta":[],"categories":[3],"tags":[],"yoast_head":"<!-- This site is optimized with the Yoast SEO plugin v19.11 -
