{"id":357265,"date":"2025-02-06T08:55:23","date_gmt":"2025-02-05T22:55:23","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/southburnett.com.au\/news2\/?p=357265"},"modified":"2025-02-06T08:56:04","modified_gmt":"2025-02-05T22:56:04","slug":"wellbeing-grants-available","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/southburnett.com.au\/news2\/2025\/02\/06\/wellbeing-grants-available\/","title":{"rendered":"&#8216;Wellbeing&#8217; Grants Available"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><strong>February 6, 2025<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>The Foundation for Rural and Regional Renewal has grants available for up to $20,000 to support wellbeing in rural areas.<\/p>\n<p>The &#8220;In a Good Place&#8221; program is inviting applications for community-driven projects that strengthen the mental, social and\/or emotional health and wellbeing of people living in remote, rural and regional places, particularly in farming communities.<\/p>\n<p>Priorities include increasing mental health education and understanding to reduce stigma; supporting people to build connections and reduce social isolation; and encouraging, supporting and enabling people to seek help for their mental health.<\/p>\n<p>Thanks to FRRR\u2019s donor partners, community groups and not-for-profit organisations (NFPs) can apply for grants through two streams of funding:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>Community wellbeing:<\/strong> For projects that focus on strengthening the general mental health and wellbeing of people in remote, rural and regional communities.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>Farmers and farming communities:<\/strong> For projects specifically supporting the mental health and wellbeing of farmers and the communities they live in.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Groups seeking support must first lodge an Expression of Interest\u00a0 by February. 14.<\/p>\n<p>After being shortlisted, final applications are due on March 11.<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>More information is <a href=\"https:\/\/frrr.org.au\/funding\/place\/in-a-good-place\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">available online<\/a><\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>The Foundation for Rural and Regional Renewal has grants available for up to $20,000 to support wellbeing in rural areas.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"author":20,"featured_media":222378,"comment_status":"open","ping_status":"open","sticky":false,"template":"","format":"standard","meta":[],"categories":[172,3,36],"tags":[1551,1134],"yoast_head":"<!-- This site is optimized with the Yoast SEO plugin v19.11 -
