Stamp collecting seems to be waning in popularity these days … much like sending postcards (or even letters).<\/p>\n

But that can’t stop a bunch of keen philatelists from meeting every year in Nanango to enjoy their hobby, meet friends and maybe even snap up a bargain.<\/p>\n

(There’s still money to be made in stamp collecting … as well as the opportunity to learn about history and other cultures!)<\/p>\n

The annual Stamp Fair, organised by the Nanango Stamp Club, again filled the auditorium at Nanango State High School on Saturday with tables from stamp clubs as well as dealers.<\/p>\n

Ten stamp clubs were represented from across south-east Queensland.<\/p>\n

Kumbia QCWA volunteers kept the canteen running while members of the Nanango Stamp Club organised activities and conducted an auction.<\/p>\n
