South Burnett Regional Council has released three videos to help promote the region as a career option – and lifestyle choice – for medical professionals.<\/p>\n

The videos were produced by local business, Torkit Business Solutions.<\/p>\n

The videos (see below) aim to promote the beautiful South Burnett and its country lifestyle to potential medical professionals looking at launching their careers in the region.<\/strong><\/p>\n

They emphasise that the South Burnett is the perfect place to enjoy a balanced lifestyle, avoid the hustle and bustle of the city and to thrive professionally in a close-knit community.<\/p>\n

\u201cWith shortages in regional and rural areas, we need to attract not only doctors but all medical professionals,” Mayor Kathy Duff said.<\/p>\n

“We warmly welcome health professionals to become part of our community where they can enjoy the country lifestyle and natural beauty of our region.\u201d<\/strong><\/p>\n

Council thanked everyone involved in the production, including Darling Downs and West Moreton PHN, Darling Downs Health, Lady Bjelke-Petersen Community Hospital and the many GPs who were happy to share their experiences of working in the South Burnett.<\/p>\n

Footnote: Preliminary work ahead of the construction of the new Lady Bjelke-Petersen Community Hospital in Kingaroy is expected to begin this year.<\/em><\/p>\n
