More than 120 swimmers were in action at the Kingaroy Aquatic Centre on Saturday for the Kingaroy Redfins’ annual swimming carnival.<\/p>\n

Club volunteer Michelle Black said swimmers aged 7-years-and-under to 18-years-and-over were competing from 23 clubs in a total of 54 events.<\/p>\n

Points – and medals for 1st, 2nd and 3rd placegetters – were awarded to swimmers aged 8 and above in every 50m, 100m or 200m event.<\/strong><\/p>\n

Younger swimmers received participation awards.<\/p>\n

At the end of the carnival, all points were tallied and the carnival’s male and female age champions were named.<\/p>\n

The Redfins hold club nights at the Kingaroy Pool every Tuesday from 5:30pm (October-March).<\/p>\n
