November 1, 2024<\/strong><\/p>\n

Kumbia Race Club will be holding its annual “Flemington In The Bush” Melbourne Cup race meeting on Tuesday, November 5.<\/p>\n

It will be a five-race meeting with the first race scheduled to leave the barriers at 1:00pm.<\/p>\n

The fashion theme is “Perfectly Pink” for the Fashions of the Field, and there’ll also be a fundraiser for the McGrath Foundation.<\/p>\n

The feature race, the Kumbia Cup (1400m), will be run at 3:45pm.<\/strong><\/p>\n

As well as a big Fashions of the Field competition, there’ll also be full TV coverage of the races from Flemington, including the Melbourne Cup at 2:00pm.<\/p>\n

On-course bookies will be taking bets on both the local and interstate races.<\/p>\n

A bus will be running from Kingaroy’s Carrollee Hotel to help punters enjoy the day without the hassle of driving, but bookings need to be made at the hotel.<\/p>\n

Entry to the races is $20 or $15 if tickets are booked online<\/a><\/strong><\/p>\n
