2024<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Member for Nanango Deb Frecklington has been appointed Attorney-General, Minister for Justice and Minister for Integrity in the new LNP State Government.<\/p>\n<p>Member for Gympie Tony Perrett will be the new Minister for Primary Industries.<\/p>\n<p>Premier David Crisafulli announced his new Ministerial team on Friday, saying his government was ready to deliver its promised &#8220;fresh start&#8221; for Queensland.<\/p>\n<p><strong>\u201cThis ministry puts community safety front and centre of government, with Laura Gerber in Youth Justice and Victim Support, Dan Purdie in Police, Deb Frecklington as Attorney-General and Minister for Justice, and Amanda Camm as Minister for Child Safety and the Prevention of Domestic and Family Violence,&#8221; the Premier said.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>\u201cThese Ministers will have a laser-like focus on restoring safety where you live and reducing the number of Queenslanders falling victim to crime.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Mr Crisafulli said cost of living, housing and health would also be priorities for the Cabinet.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cWe will deliver a place to call home for more Queenslanders, with a new Home Ownership portfolio under the Treasurer\u2019s oversight to open the door to a first home for more young Queenslanders,\u201d he said.<\/p>\n<p><strong>\u201cWe will diagnose, treat and cure the ailments of our health system, including reducing ambulance ramping below 30 per cent and stabilising wait lists, and I\u2019m confident we can do so with the experience and guidance of Tim Nicholls as Health Minister.&#8221;<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Mrs Frecklington said she was humbled to have been given the opportunity to serve as Queensland\u2019s Attorney-General.<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;It is an honour to take on this important role as we work to deliver a fresh start and a safer community for Queenslanders,&#8221; she said.<\/p>\n<p>The Assistant Ministry will be announced once all Electorates have been
