Toowoomba Regional Council has begun work to replace a badly flood-damaged culvert on Maria Creek Road, Anduramba.<\/p>\n

The project is one of nine approved under a Betterment program, part of the wider 2022 Flood Recovery Program.<\/p>\n

Cr Carol Taylor said Maria Creek was one of the worst flood-affected roads in the region.<\/p>\n

\u201cCouncil is grateful for the financial assistance for these projects through the jointly funded Commonwealth and State Disaster Recovery Funding Arrangements,\u201d Cr Taylor said.<\/p>\n

\u201cThe 2022 Flood Recovery Program is now over 95 per cent complete and has included work to more than 1500 roads across the region and seen the replacement of more than 100 culverts.”<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
