I come from a family-owned small business background, married a third-generation farmer, and have experienced firsthand the challenges faced by small business owners and primary producers.<\/em><\/p>\n<p style=\"padding-left: 40px;\"><em>I undertook university study to improve my future and gain the necessary skills to assist others with their accounting, finance, and taxation needs. <\/em><\/p>\n<p style=\"padding-left: 40px;\"><em>My goal is to secure a position where I can use my skills to assist residents in our region. I am particularly interested in helping farmers with their taxation requirements and succession planning, as the plight of farmers is close to my heart.<\/em><\/p>\n<p style=\"padding-left: 40px;\"><em>I like helping others and love being involved in my local community. One ongoing rewarding experience is providing enjoyment to others through singing, especially the residents of nursing homes.<\/em><\/p>\n<p style=\"padding-left: 40px;\"><em>I am incredibly grateful to the NCWQ and South Burnett Mayor Kathy Duff for this bursary which will help with the cost of my course fees.<\/em><\/p>\n<p><strong>Member for Maranoa David Littleproud also sponsored a $1000 bursary for a female resident of the Maranoa Federal electorate who is in their first year in tertiary studies. The lucky recipient was Charlotte Baker, from western Queensland:<\/strong><\/p>\n<p style=\"padding-left: 40px;\"><em>My name is Charlotte Baker, and my family lives on a cattle property just outside of Goondiwindi in the Maranoa electorate.<\/em><\/p>\n<p style=\"padding-left: 40px;\"><em>I am currently completing my first year studying a Bachelor of Economics at the University of Queensland, with intentions to also commence a Bachelor of Laws next year.<\/em><\/p>\n<p style=\"padding-left: 40px;\"><em>I reside at St John&#8217;s College in Brisbane, providing opportunities to pursue my interests in sport and community.<\/em><\/p>\n<p style=\"padding-left: 40px;\"><em>I am very grateful to have been awarded the Hon. David Littleproud MP Bursary for 2024. This will contribute significantly to assisting with the cost of relocating to study.<\/em><\/p>\n<p style=\"padding-left: 40px;\"><em>One day I intend to return to rural Queensland to live and work, as this is where my heart lies.<\/em><\/p>\n<div class=\"elementor-element elementor-element-2aecdaff elementor-widget elementor-widget-text-editor\" data-id=\"2aecdaff\" data-element_type=\"widget\" data-widget_type=\"text-editor.default\">\n<div class=\"elementor-widget-container\">\n<p>NCWQ Bursaries are awarded annually to successful Queensland female student applicants.<\/p>\n<p>There are range on offer every year.
