The National Farmers\u2019 Federation has opened applications for its popular National Agriculture Leadership Program.<\/p>\n

The program provides exclusive opportunities for emerging leaders in the agriculture sector, including mentoring and policy development.<\/p>\n

NFF president David Jochinke said the program was targeted at people aged under 35.<\/p>\n

\u201cIt\u2019s an honour to encourage the next generation of leaders to follow their passion and grow their leadership potential,\u201d Mr Jochinke said.<\/p>\n

\u201cBy fostering a young person\u2019s interest in advocacy, we’re helping to grow a diverse, informed and articulate agricultural leadership.<\/p>\n

\u201cThe program immerses our participants in the policy and advocacy worlds; they\u2019ll have the opportunity to tour Australian Parliament House and meet with Federal politicians and government departments, and be mentored by leading policy experts.”<\/strong><\/p>\n

He said the limited spots were always hotly contested.<\/p>\n

\u201cI encourage everyone with a passion for ag and an interest in leadership to apply,\u201d Mr Jochinke said.<\/p>\n
