{"id":352414,"date":"2024-08-28T17:33:41","date_gmt":"2024-08-28T07:33:41","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/southburnett.com.au\/news2\/?p=352414"},"modified":"2024-08-28T17:34:24","modified_gmt":"2024-08-28T07:34:24","slug":"wdrc-offers-tank-incentive","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/southburnett.com.au\/news2\/2024\/08\/28\/wdrc-offers-tank-incentive\/","title":{"rendered":"WDRC Offers Tank Incentive"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><strong>August 28, 2024<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Western Downs residents thinking of installing rainwater tanks have been invited to apply for rebates under a Western Downs Regional Council scheme.<\/p>\n<p>Applications are now being accepted for the 2024-2025 financial year.<\/p>\n<p>Cr Sam Condon said the installation of rainwater tanks was a straightforward and effective approach to enhancing resilience.<\/p>\n<p>The rebate amount varies from $500 and $1000, depending on the size of tank purchased.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Residents in non-potable areas are eligible for a $2000 rebate when installing tanks with a 40,000-litre capacity or more.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>The rebate applies to new tanks only and will be made available on a first-come, first-served basis.<\/p>\n<p>It is available through a pre-approval process and reimbursed when proof of purchase is provided.
