A man has been airlifted to hospital with chest and shoulder injuries after a farming accident near Ballogie on Friday.<\/p>\n

A LifeFlight spokesperson said the man, aged in his 70s, was mustering cattle on a private property when his motorbike struck an ant hill.<\/p>\n

The Sunshine Coast-based LifeFlight crew was able to land their helicopter close to the incident about 11:00am.<\/p>\n

Queensland Ambulance Service paramedics and a LifeFlight critical care doctor treated the man at the scene before he was airlifted to the Sunshine Coast University Hospital in a stable condition.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
