August 15, 2024<\/strong><\/p>\n

Wondering what’s happening (and when) over this sizzling weekend of bacon-themed fun in Kingaroy?<\/p>\n

The 2024 Kingaroy BaconFest kicks off on Friday night with the annual Wine and Swine soir\u00e9e in the Kingaroy Town Hall Forecourt … but sorry, tickets at $100 a pop have all been sold!<\/p>\n

But don’t worry, there’s still plenty to see and do on Saturday and Sunday (see the full program, below).<\/p>\n

And there will be great opportunities to meet the special guest chefs: Alastair McLeod, Dan and Steph Mulheron, Justine Schofield, Maggie Dmochowski and Matt Golinski.<\/p>\n

The popular BaconFest Pinup Pageant will be happening at noon on Saturday.<\/strong><\/p>\n

There’ll be plenty of live music and dancing displays as well as special activities for younger children in The Bacon Barn.<\/p>\n

Events will be taking place across Saturday and Sunday both inside and outside the Kingaroy Town Hall and on The Bacon Barn stage.<\/p>\n

Australian Pork Ltd is sponsoring the annual bacon-eating contest, with heats on Saturday and the grand final on Sunday morning.<\/p>\n

The winner will receive a year’s worth of bacon!<\/p>\n

Tickets for special activities – and to enter the event area – can be booked online<\/a><\/strong><\/p>\n

A one-day pass is $15 (or $10 concession) with Under 5s free.<\/p>\n

A two-day pass is $25 (or $15 concession) with Under 5s free.<\/p>\n

Family passes are also available.<\/p>\n
