A teenage driver has been fined $1845 after police clocked him allegedly travelling at 171km\/h on the Wide Bay Highway at Lower Wonga last week.<\/p>\n

Goomeri Police intercepted a Ford Everest travelling east on the highway about 4:30pm.<\/p>\n

A 17-year-old Kilkivan man was issued a speeding ticket for $1845 and eight demerit points.<\/p>\n

Police are investigating the circumstances surrounding a caravan fire on a property off the D’Aguilar Highway in the early hours of Wednesday morning.<\/strong><\/p>\n

Emergency services were called about 2:10am to an address at South Nanango following reports a caravan was on fire.<\/p>\n

Two fire crews attended the incident but found the fire had already been extinguished.<\/p>\n

A police spokesperson said investigations were ongoing.<\/p>\n

A QAS spokesperson said no patients were reported at the incident.<\/p>\n
