August 2, 2024<\/strong><\/p>\n

Nanango Race Club will be holding its annual Nanango Cup Race Meeting at the Lee Park Racecourse on Saturday.<\/p>\n

This is the first race meeting held in the South Burnett for the new racing year, and features a bumper card of seven races.<\/p>\n

As usual, the annual Blessing Of The Jockeys ceremony will be held and the winners of Nanango Race Club’s 2023-24 Premierships will also be announced.<\/strong><\/p>\n

All other features – such as the bar, barbecue and race club canteen – will operate as usual, and undercover seating will be available as well as lawn seating.<\/p>\n

Fashions Of The Field has a Classic Cup theme.<\/p>\n

The meeting’s feature race is Race 6 – the $10,500 Nanango Cup – run over 1600m.<\/strong><\/p>\n

Buses will be leaving Glendon Street in Kingaroy at noon and the Scott Car Park at 12:30pm.<\/p>\n

Gates will open at 10:00am and Race 1 will leave the barriers at 12:15pm.<\/p>\n
