More information is available on Council&#8217;s <a href=\"https:\/\/www.southburnett.qld.gov.au\/homepage\/260\/waste-facilities\" target=\"_blank&quot;\" rel=\"noopener\"><b>website<\/b><\/a><\/p>\n<p>Illegal dumping is the unlawful deposit of any type of waste material that is 200 litres or more in volume and includes household rubbish, garden waste, building and commercial waste or other materials that damage natural areas.<\/p>\n<p>It can result in the release of pollutants into local waterways and spread pests and weeds species.<\/p>\n<p>Fibro sheets or old vinyl flooring containing asbestos can pose a serious health hazard to others.<\/p>\n<p>Illegal dumping is unsightly and unlawful dumpsites can lower property values and attract other illegal activities.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>South Burnett Mayor Kathy Duff has urged residents to contact council if they become aware of illegally dumped materials in the region.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"author":20,"featured_media":298454,"comment_status":"open","ping_status":"open","sticky":false,"template":"","format":"standard","meta":[],"categories":[22,3],"tags":[1131],"yoast_head":"<!-- This site is optimized with the Yoast SEO plugin v19.11 -
