South Burnett Saints suffered a narrow loss to the Toowoomba Tigers in a low-scoring AFL game at Lyle Vidler Oval in Kingaroy last Saturday.<\/p>\n

When the final siren sounded, Tigers were ahead 4.13-37 to 3.8-26.<\/p>\n

Saints’ goals were kicked by Jack Mines, James Packer and Mitch Francis.<\/p>\n

A special celebration was held at the start of the match for Saints’ player Keegan Wright who clocked up his 100th senior game with the club.<\/strong><\/p>\n

Toowoomba Tigers were also too strong for the South Burnett in both the women’s and U14s games.<\/p>\n

Ezra Salmon and Aaliyah Salmon were the Saints’ successful goal kickers in Under 14s.<\/p>\n

This weekend both the Saints’ men’s and U14s teams have a bye, while the women’s team is scheduled to head to Goondiwindi to face the Hawks.<\/p>\n
