The South Burnett Junior Motorcycle Club is one of ten local community groups to receive a grant from the latest round of the Gambling Community Benefit Fund<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n

Ten South Burnett community groups will receive a total of $304,027 in grants from the State Government’s Gambling Community Benefit Fund.<\/p>\n

The results of Round 120 were released on Friday (June 7).<\/p>\n

The successful applicants were:<\/b><\/p>\n

    \n
  • Brooklands Rural Fire Brigade<\/strong> – $35,000 to upgrade facility<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n
      \n
    • Burnett Catchment Care Association<\/strong> – $14,350 to buy equipment<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n
        \n
      • Goomeri Pumpkin Festival<\/strong> – $35,000 to host festival<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n
          \n
        • Kingaroy Christmas Carnival Committee<\/strong> – $35,000 to host carnival<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n
            \n
          • Kingaroy Netball Association<\/strong> – $35,000 to build shed<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n
              \n
            • Kumbia & District Golf Club<\/strong> – $14,260 to install solar system<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n
                \n
              • Moffatdale State School P&C<\/strong> – $34,932 to buy musical equipment<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n
                  \n
                • South Burnett Junior Motorcycle Club<\/strong> – $34,395 to build a supercross track<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n
                    \n
                  • Wondai PA&I Society<\/strong> – $33,500 to buy a utility vehicle, trailer and spray tank<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n
                      \n
                    • Yarraman & District Men’s Shed<\/strong> – $32,590 to buy a bobcat<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n

                      They were among 588 organisations and not-for-profits across Queensland to share almost $15 million in grant funding to support initiatives improving community services, facilities and the wellbeing of Queenslanders<\/strong><\/p>\n

                      Round 120 is the first of three funding rounds this year.<\/p>\n

                      Applications for grants of up to $100,000 under Round 121, the 30th Anniversary Super round, have now closed.<\/p>\n
