Murgon Mustangs’ Domestic Violence Awareness Round is on again this Saturday … it’s always a big day for junior players with a serious message for the older ones<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n

May 24, 2024<\/strong><\/p>\n

After a week off to appreciate the NRL’s Magic Round, South Burnett Rugby League returns this weekend … with a big Saturday planned at Murgon.<\/p>\n

It’s the Mustangs big Domestic Violence Awareness Round with junior and senior games being played across seven fields at Murgon Sportsgrounds.<\/p>\n

The action will get under way on Friday night, with two Under 14s games:<\/strong><\/p>\n

    \n
  • 5:30pm<\/strong> – Cherbourg v Murgon (SBRL)<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n
      \n
    • 6:30pm<\/strong> – Kingaroy v Wondai (SBRL)<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n

      Then on Saturday, there will be quick turnaround round robin games from Under 6s through to Under 12s, with games starting at 8:00am.<\/p>\n

      All games will 18 minutes long with two minutes between each.<\/p>\n

      More competition games will also be hitting the fields:<\/strong><\/p>\n

      • 11:00am<\/strong> – Under 15s – South Burnett Eagles v Across The Waves Tigers (BJRL)<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n
          \n
        • 12:15pm<\/strong> – Under 16s – South Burnett Eagles v Across The Waves Tigers (BJRL)<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n
            \n
          • 1:30pm<\/strong> – Under 17s – South Burnett Eagles v Toowoomba Brothers (TJRL)<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n
              \n
            • 2:45pm<\/strong> – A Grade – Murgon Mustangs v Cherbourg Hornets<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n
                \n
              • 4:30pm<\/strong> – A Grade – Kingaroy Red Ants v Wondai Wolves<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n

                Murgon Mustangs reckon there are 83 games in total scheduled to be played on Saturday!<\/p>\n

                Other rugby league games scheduled for this weekend include two Open games in the Wide Bay Female competition:<\/strong><\/p>\n

                  • Sunday<\/strong> – Cherbourg v Fraser Coast at Maryborough<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n
