The rain made conditions at Cherbourg difficult for the few hardy spectators that turned up<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n

April 22, 2024<\/strong><\/p>\n

It was a wet start to the 2024 rugby league season at the weekend, with heavy rain affecting several scheduled games.<\/p>\n

All junior games – from Under 6s through to Under 12s – went ahead as planned at Cherbourg on Saturday.<\/p>\n

The Under 14s boys games on Friday night and Saturday were also unaffected but the two scheduled women’s games did not go ahead.<\/p>\n

The other Wide Bay open women’s game – scheduled to be played at Maryborough on Sunday – was washed out.<\/p>\n
