The third annual Youth Services Expo attracted a host of service providers – and students – to the Barambah Youth Services Hub in Murgon last Friday.<\/p>\n

Hub manager Gaye O\u2019Sullivan said there was a variety of events and activities for young people to enjoy.<\/p>\n

“It is an opportunity for young people to explore services and meet the service providers that can support them through the Youth Hub,” Gaye said.<\/p>\n

“This includes services such as counsellors, psychologists, and employment support services, to name a few.<\/p>\n

“Young people become more familiar with the people that can support them, if they ever have a concern or worry.”<\/strong><\/p>\n

There were 15 service providers in attendance as well as Cherbourg Radio UsMob which provided a live broadcast.<\/p>\n

South Burnett CTC put on a sausage sizzle<\/p>\n

The Clontarf Foundation and Gundoo Early Childhood Learning Centre also supported the event.<\/p>\n

Gaye said the Barambah Youth Services Hub offers a range of services to support the health and wellbeing of students and young people aged 6-24.<\/strong><\/p>\n
