Police have charged a 15-year-old Maryborough boy with 13 offences following an alleged dangerous driving incident in Kingaroy on Tuesday.<\/p>\n

It will be alleged the boy was driving a stolen Nissan Navara when he attempted to steal fuel from the United Petroleum service station in Youngman Street about 10:45am.<\/p>\n

Police attended the address and arrested the child.<\/p>\n

An eyewitness told southburnett.com.au a police officer was carrying a rifle during the arrest, which went without incident.<\/strong><\/p>\n

“Police did a great job, acting swiftly and kept all calm,” he said.<\/p>\n

No one was physically injured.<\/p>\n

A police spokesperson said the boy has been charged with two counts each of driving without a licence, possessing dangerous drugs, stealing and unlawful use of motor vehicle, and one count each of dangerous operation of a vehicle, failed to properly dispose of needle and syringe, possess utensils or pipes that had been used, trespass and wilful damage.<\/p>\n
