March 21, 2024<\/b><\/p>\n

A woman was airlifted to hospital in a serious condition after a collision near Yarraman on Wednesday night.<\/p>\n

A police spokesperson said initial investigations indicated a 4WD heading towards Nanango on the D\u2019Aguilar Highway, and a truck heading in the opposite direction, collided about 8:00pm.<\/p>\n

The driver of the 4WD, a woman in her 50s, had to be cut free from her vehicle.<\/p>\n

She was airlifted to the Royal Brisbane and Women\u2019s Hospital in a serious condition with chest, abdominal and leg injuries.<\/p>\n

The rescue helicopter managed to land nearby.<\/p>\n

A female passenger in the 4WD, aged in her 20s, received minor injuries and was transported to Kingaroy Hospital in a stable condition with hand and chest pain.<\/p>\n

The truck driver was not physically injured.<\/p>\n

Traffic on the highway was delayed for several hours while emergency crews were at the scene.<\/p>\n

The Forensic Crash Unit is investigating.<\/p>\n
