About 150 former and current Nanango residents gathered at Ringsfield House on Saturday to chat and swap memories.<\/p>\n

The annual Nanango Reunion has been held for an incredible 63 years, although for most of this time former residents gathered together in Brisbane, often at New Farm Park.<\/p>\n

Vicky Cross (nee Anderson), who has been organising the event since 2015, said in recent years it had been held in Nanango.<\/p>\n

Vicky also sends out a newsletter to former residents, updating them about the latest happenings in the town.<\/strong><\/p>\n

Since 2016, the reunion has been held annually at Ringsfield (or at Nanango Showgrounds if raining) with the exception of 2021-22 due to the pandemic.<\/p>\n

“The whole idea is for people to just get together and catch up,” Vicky said.<\/p>\n

There was a lot of reminiscing happening on Saturday, with visitors looking through collections at the Nanango History Room (the old schoolhouse) and enjoying guided tours through the historic Ringsfield building.<\/p>\n
