The Rosalie North Landcare group – which is running a free mental wellbeing bus trip around the Yarraman district next week – has just received a major boost.<\/p>\n

The group has received grant funding from the South Burnett Mental Health Golf Challenge Funding Appeal, organised last year by Gavin Jones and Scott Henschen.<\/strong><\/p>\n

The appeal funds, which are being managed by Red Earth Community Foundation, means Jo Hassan has now been booked to accompany the journey.<\/p>\n

Jo is a “vitality” coach who teaches business owners how to balance their business life and spare time … “a vibrant business and a vibrant life is possible”, she says.<\/p>\n

The bus will leave Emmert Street, next to the Yarraman Recreation Grounds, at 8:45am on Saturday, March 9.<\/p>\n

During the morning it will visit the Friends Of Yarraman Creek project and Tony Slade’s Native Nursery.<\/strong><\/p>\n

This will be followed by morning tea at the Upper Yarraman Farmer’s Hall where guest speakers will discuss mental health and wellbeing.<\/p>\n

The daytrippers will then enjoy lunch and music from popular country entertainer Glenn Jones before the bus returns to Yarraman about 3:30pm.<\/p>\n

The day is free but guests who want to buy nursery plants or reference materials should bring cash.<\/p>\n

As seats are limited, bookings are essential – phone 0408-765-516.<\/strong><\/p>\n

The event is being supported by Wild Horse FM 99.7, JBH Rural, Peries IGA Yarraman, EE Muir and Sons, the Yarraman Hotel-Motel, Stanwell, the Tarong Power Stations, Darling Downs Health, Bunyarra Wellbeing and Red Earth Community Foundation.<\/p>\n
