Connecting through creativity and colour … this is the key idea behind a series of workshops which have been organised by Moffatdale floral artist Felicity Aitken.<\/p>\n

The five workshops – plus demonstrations at the Wondai Garden Expo on April 20-21 – will culminate in a two-week exhibition at Dimities Cottage Cafe, Wondai, in late April.<\/strong><\/p>\n

The two-hour workshops have been funded by the Regional Arts Development Fund (RADF).<\/p>\n

They will cover making corsages, floral headpieces, botanical costumes and wall installations.<\/p>\n

Felicity said participants should sign up for at least two of the workshops or could complete all five.<\/p>\n

They will be held on Fridays and Saturdays at Felicity’s studio at Raukawa Cottage, 28 Steinhardts Road, Moffatdale,<\/p>\n

Numbers have been capped at 10 people per workshop.<\/p>\n

Cost is $25 per workshop to cover materials and tuition.<\/p>\n

Anyone interested in taking part in the workshops, which will run through February and March, should contact Felicity on 0400-050-794.<\/strong><\/p>\n
