Darling Downs and West Moreton PHN has invited health professionals from across the South Burnett to attend a meet’n’greet to be held next month near Kingaroy.<\/p>\n

The meet’n’greet will be held at Kingsley Grove Estate, 49 Stuart Valley Drive, on Thursday, March 14.<\/p>\n

Darling Downs and West Moreton PHN CEO Lucille Chalmers said she was keen to see as many local health professionals attend as possible.<\/strong><\/p>\n

\u201cThese events are a wonderful opportunity to connect with our health service providers and recognise the incredible work they do,\u201d Ms Chalmers said.<\/p>\n

\u201cWith recent changes to the way primary health providers can operate through the MyMedicare initiative, as well as evolving improvements in digital health solutions, these events are a chance to share information and learn from each other to ultimately improve the way health might be delivered to the local community.\u201d<\/p>\n

(PHNs or “Primary Health Networks” are independent, but federally funded, organisations which work to connect health services in defined regions. There are 31 PHNs across Australia.
