The 10th round of FairPlay vouchers has opened to help eligible families of young Queenslanders with the cost of signing up with a local sports or active recreation clubs.<\/p>\n

Sport Minister Michael Healy said FairPlay vouchers would deliver up to $150 for club membership, team registration, or participation fees.<\/strong><\/p>\n

Voucher applications opened on January 24 and will close on May 1.<\/p>\n

The vouchers will be redeemable at participating clubs until June 12.<\/p>\n

In an added bonus, the expiry date of more than 4000 vouchers from Round 9 has been extended. <\/p>\n

This will allow these vouchers to be presented to clubs and organisations until May 1, 2024. Clubs and organisations can also redeem Round 9 FairPlay vouchers until June 12, 2024.<\/p>\n

Since the program began in 2019, an investment of over $27 million has resulted in more than 182,000 vouchers redeemed by eligible families.<\/strong> <\/p>\n

The FairPlay program is part of the State Government\u2019s 10-year Activate! Queensland Strategy to get more Queenslanders moving more often.<\/p>\n

Parents, carers, or guardians can apply for a FairPlay voucher if their child is aged between 5-17 years and they have a valid Centrelink Health Care Card or Pensioner Concession Card with the child\u2019s name on it.<\/p>\n

Applications can be made through a referral agency for families without a government concession card.<\/p>\n
